Sherborne Voluntary Organisations thanked for their support to VolunTEAMing

Sherborne Douzelage thanked 36 voluntary organisations, plus the Gryphon School and the Volunteer Centre Dorset for the support and contributions that they had made to making the VolunTEAMing project such as success.

In recognition of this each organisation was presented with a contribution towards the effort that they had made to the project, such that they could continue with the valuable volunteering work that they do in the community.

Kevin Waterfall – chairman of Sherborne Douzelage, Mrs Anthony Jaggard, deputy lieutenant and Cllr Peter Rhodes, major of Sherborne made the presentations, supported by Moira Western, Clifton Jelbert, Michael Morrell and other Douzelage Committee Members organised and ran the evening.

Young musicians from The Rendezvous entertained with music before and after the presentations.
